With a cast of over 20 performers, clanking chains, swirling fog, spooky lighting, festive carols and mulled wine, The Fairlight Players will be presenting a wonderful adaption of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” at the village hall in November. Adapted for the stage by Peter Denyer, this production stays true to the original language of the story, and will even have Dickens himself narrating throughout the performances.
Come along and listen (and join in) with the carol singers, enjoy the mulled wine and mince pies, and be prepared to be transported to the foggy streets of London to meet out wonderful array of characters. Performances will take place on November 7-9, with a matinee performance on Saturday 9th as well as the evening performance. And if anyone knows where we can get hold of a large goose…not a real one please….let us know! Tiny Tim will need one for his Christmas lunch!
